KEY FEATURES

ICU – The 24 bedded  Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a highly specialized unit in the hospital with state of the art monitoring and all life support gadgets  where seriously ill patients are cared for by specially trained staff. ICU is run by Consultant Intensivists. The beds are inclusive of 2 negative pressure and 2 positive pressure isolation cabins. The ICU staff includes Intensivists, clinical nurse specialists, physical therapists, Critical care technicians.


CCU – A 13 bedded coronary care unit (CCU) is a unit specialized in the care of patients with heart attacks, unstable angina, cardiac dysrhythmia and (in practice) various other cardiac conditions. Our CCU is well equipped for monitoring the patient 24×7 with all facilities.


ITU –  A 14 bedded  Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) unit has state of the art monitoring and life-support equipment so that normal body functions can be observed and supported whilst the patient is unwell. The ITU is run by consultant anaesthetists who are specially trained in dealing with very sick patients and the problems they have. Working alongside them is a team of nurses who are experienced in caring for extremely unwell patients and looking after the complex monitoring and life support equipment.


SICU – The SICU is a 8 bed ICU that accepts and manages patients who have undergone a variety of general and specialty surgical procedures including all gastrointestinal procedures, some trauma (the majority of trauma is managed in a dedicated trauma ICU),  as well as all surgical specialties other than cardiothoracic. The ICU team is comprised of an anesthesiology or surgical intensivist, a senior and junior anesthesiology resident and a multidisciplinary team of allied health care providers.


HDU – The High Dependency Unit (HDU) provides a service of care for relatively more ill or injured patients. Patients on HDU need constant medical support and may require extra monitoring, help with their breathing or they have a severe infection and need to be cared for using specialist equipment or resources. Our HDU consists of 9 adult beds.


NICU – Our 8-bedded NICU is equipped with all modern gadgets, including adequate number of LED Phototherapy machines, vital monitors, Open Care systems, CPAP and ventilators to treat the critically ill newborns.


PICU – IQ City Narayana Multispeciaity Hospital is having the best PICU , in this region. a state-of-the-art 6-bedded Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Our dedicated team of physicians and nurses give their best to provide round-the-clock care to all patients ranging from minor ailments to critically ill children, chronic diseases to acute crisis.
